UPB INFO

Our new range of wall switches provide an amazing choice for your interior and exterior lighting requirements.

We now interface to Clipsal SATURN an dother glass and normal wall switches. Now you have amazing choice. All controlling UPB power-line systems.

New demo systems provide UPB for customers interested in the powerline alternative.

HOW SIMPLE IS THIS!

You can simply wire the wall switches to a 240V active and neutral at the wall switch area and then put the UPB module anywhere (at the start) on a light circuit (load) and simply program the button on the wall switch to turn on up to 16 modules (circuits) if required. No need to wire the smart wall switch to the module. Now that is flexibility and ease of installation. A wall switch can also be a room controller or even a house controller just by programming with software. Now that is smart. WIth LED's on board you can tell which loads are ON/OFF or as a house controller if there are any lights on in the home.

Standalone lighting control or interface with a HAI controller.

All modules are EMC approved!

MORE CHOICE, MORE FEATURES, MORE AFFORDABLE . . .

Why choose a Universal Powerline Bus solution?
Today home automation systems do more than just lighting control. The next generation of automation control systems are here now. Instead of having to lay lots of CAT5 wiring around the home like Clipsal, Dynalite and HPM have to do, the UPB powerline solution works over the existing 240VAC wiring in the home. So you save lots or money. So home control is achieved via the home controller (like HAI OMNI series) talking to devices around the home over the 240AC wiring. This means you can start small and add more later as budget allows. But automation is more than just lighting control. The HAI system provides for control of security and just about anything else in the home that has a power supply. You can automate blinds, awnings, irrigation, fountains, pools, doors, lighting and the list goes on and on. The industry offers a lot of proprietary products and systems with little in the way of common standards. To overcome this HAI has based its approach on IP (internet protocol) and powerline bus systems. So you can access your system from anywhere in the home or the world using your internet, mobile phone or a myriad of other devices. The system talks to you and takes action based on your commands. So you can turn the air-con on from the office or start irrigation or security cycles from your vacation in Bali. The only limit is your imagination.

With a full UL rated security system on board the home controller it does everything you need. All from the one controller. It is simple to operate and simple to program. With an array of smart wall swicth possibilities from glass and ceramics to the standard plates there is a solution to your most fastidious decor requirements. THE BE-HOME DEZIGN approach delivers best of breed solutions at an affordable price. Best of all your electrician simply wires the home as he normally would and he can install the UPB equipment himself if required.
The DIGITAL SMART HOME is the way of the future. It can save you money as well.

NOTE: These pictures have been taken on our work bench and may not do the product justice. Colours and other aspects may vary. Smart switches come in 1,2, 4 and 6 gang configurations. Smart switches provide scene construction and configuration functions as well as local light control. In other words any one smart switch can turn any light or group of lights in the home ON/OFF or DIM.
There is also a single dumb switch facility (lower cost) that connects to the UPB module via CAT5. This is ideal for single circuit control not requiring a scene button. The HAI controller talks to all UPB modules which can be placed on the roof or behind wall plates. The 6 gang wall plate provides room and house control. UPB can be installed with a central home automation controller or without as a stand alone solution. Additional wall switches will become available like glass switches etc. There is a current interface to CLIPSAL SATURN GLASS wall switches if required which are then controlled by the HAI OMNI controller. New products released by HAI in the past 6 months including home control via your mobile phone have put the product line in the forefront of home automation technologies.
