Cameras Shake
Videos
from Security cameras often shake. Shake comes from
many sources and is amplified by high-power zoom lenses.
Swaying buildings, wind-driven locations, cameras mounted
near machinery or Heating Ventilation Air Condition,
PTZ servos and of course all mobile applications they
all generate shaky and unsteady videos.
Steady
is more than beauty
Removing
the shake has more benefits than the obvious professional
look for the installation:
A
steady video shows cleaner details. Sharp details are
a requirement for good and high quality security video.
Steady video is less fatiguing to watch. Keeping the
operator alert is a major challenge in real-life security
CCTV. A simple change like a steady image helps a lot
to meet this challenge.
Steady video compresses better. Modern digital compressors
use a lot of bits to encode moving features of a video.
If the whole image shakes, it is all moving. This wastes
an enormous number of bits. Remove the shake and digital
recorders store more video. For the same reason, stable
images have higher compression and quality for remote
and Internet viewing.

Give
your guard a break!Security cameras are a cost-effective
means to keep large areas under 24/7 surveillance. Add
a recorder and youve got an automated system. But the
short focal-length lens that covers that wide area yields
recorded video that is too coarse to blow up to see
detail. A digital zoom doesnt help if the data isnt
there you only get bigger pixels, not details. Of course
you can use the powerful optical zoom of your PTZ camera
to zoom in on interesting objects while theyare on-camera
to get the detail you need. But this requires an operator
until now. The CloseView video appliance, designed
by the motion experts at DynaPel allows unattended operations
to capture close-ups of the action in the scene. It
watches the wide-angle video, just like an electronic
watchman. When there is detected motion in the field
of view, it automatically directs your PTZ camera to
zoom in and look at the activity. In addition the
CloseView appliance deploys an alarm output to trigger
recording, so faces and car licenses are clearly, sharply
recorded with your DVR for later review and action.

NightView
Appliance
Most
of the crime happens in the darkness
Criminals
know that surveillance cameras dont operate well at
low light or high contrast situations. Low light generates
noisy video images at best, and bright lights (like
from car head lights) overexpose the electronics in
the camera, such that all detail is lost. The electronics
in a standard surveillance camera is just too simple
to compensate for that.
This all changes with the plug-and-play NightView appliance
from DynaPel. It works with virtually every camera and
generates clean and crisp video from noisy, overexposed,
or underexposed input video. Like from an expensive
high-dynamic range camera.
NightView
makes night videos useable
Correcting
for over- or underexposure, dimming bright lights and
simultaneously lighting up shaded areas proves more
than just creating a nicer video:
A
NightView video shows cleaner details. Sharp details
are a requirement for good and high quality security
video.
NightView video is less fatiguing to watch and makes
it for an operator much easier to recognize critical
situation, suspicious behavior or people. Keeping the
