CAN
YOU TURN AIR-CON AND HEATING ON, OFF OR SET A TEMPERATURE
FROM YOUR MOBILE PHONE, OVER THE INTERNET, BY STANDARD
TELEPHONE?
YES
. . .
Today
more and more homes are wanting climate control to
be a vital part of comfortable living. Most airconditioning
and heating vendors have proprietary systems and make
it hard for home controllers to interface.
However
in recent times we have been able to provide hardware
and software interfaces to cooling and heating equipment.
Some manufacturers are developing open systems so
we can access the mother board and control fan speed
and temperature from the home controller using thermostats.

We
interface to ACTRON AIR compressor units
We
can also turn heating and cooling systems on and off
using the controller and a thermostat. This can be done
from inside the home or anywhere in the world using
Web Link II and internet access. So you can enjoy comfort
when you get home on a hot day or warmth on a cold day.
The energy savings is high when the controller can govern
air flow and conditoning based on occupancy, timeof
day and door openings.
OMNISTAT
communicating thermostats connect to the HAI controller
and report temperature information. You can also add
longer range temperature and humidity sensors for even
more control.

OTHER
PRODUCTS CAN BE CONNECTED TO PROVIDE EVEN MORE CONTROL

Have
your home control needs grown beyond what your X10
modules and Computer Interface can handle? Take the
next step with the Ocelot programmable controller
from Adicon, one of our most comprehensive home automation
devices. This powerful, flexible and easy-to-use controller
offers two-way X10 control for 256 devices, execution
of up to 512 IR commands (with 2,000 lines of code)
and activation of hundreds of relay-controlled devices.
Together, these capabilities let you control virtually
any light or appliance, remote control audio/video
component, heating, air conditioning, or sprinkler
system and so much more!
The system is fully expandable. Start off with the
central controller and expand from there with an assortment
of add-on expansion modules. For true ease of use,
you can even expand with one or more touch screen
controllers. Together, these components can be linked
together to create a home control system that feels
like it was tailored just for you.
The central controller offers complete two-way X10
control through an RJ-11 port (requires XM10 module,
sold separately) and can be connected to a PC with
its RS-232 port and included cable. After programming
the controller with the system's free software, you
can disconnect it from the computer for independent
operation. The controller also offers an RS-485 port,
two 3.5mm stereo jacks and dual IR ports (transmit
and receive), giving you access to its learning IR
features.
The system lets you build macros on just about anything
and offers the ability to send and receive ASCII text
messages. It also features a four-wire screw terminal
that lets you connect various control modules, providing
relay outputs, as well as analogue, digital and supervised
inputs. Up to 128 modules can be connected in a daisy
chain (1220m max), giving you a grand total of 2,048
points (each input or relay output is one point).
