In
2009 Australia's fastest growing home automation
company now provides custom design, products and service
solutions for home and commercial automation including
Dynalite systems. Our power-line technology expertise
is now second to none and we are the pre-eminent installer
of power-line based automation systems in Australia.
We represent PLLC UPB products (Australian) and Smart
Home Ltd. (in Israel) a PCS (USA) licensed patent holder/manufacturer
and market 240V UPB products in Australia.
Our primary focus is marketing home automation and home
AV solutions for domestic and commercial requirements.
We design custom and packages solutions for builders,
developers and home owners of all sizes. Our expertise
means we can help clients choose the system that is
just right. From the simplest entry level requirement
to homes of grandeur and magnificence we provide products
and services to meet all requirements.
In
2008 we launched UPB technologies on the Gold Coast
to electricians from Tweed to Noosa. This exciting new
technology three years in the waiting succeeds X10 and
A10 technology and sends digital powerline commands
over the 240AC wiring.
The release of the Niveus system sees us at CEDIA in
July 2008 in conjunction with Alloys International.
Our Perth dealer joined us in March 2008 and another
Sydney based dealer commenced in May 2008. The company
has positioned to be a strong force in the home automation
business in Australia now being represented in all states.
More developers have approached BE-HOME this year with
a view to including automation in new construction and
property developments. Our HAI training programs continue
to be popular. The company is now represented in Melbourne.
In
2007 we became the authorised distributor for another
range of home automation products. We designed and installed
systems for the Project 88 Charity home at Sanctuary
Cove which when sold the proceeds went to children hospitals
around Australia. Our launch into home theatre applications
enabled the company to become proficient in related
systems and technologies. We entered into a joint agreemnet
with Choice Homes who build 1200 homes a year to provide
automation services for a range of thier products.
In
2006 we launched the first touch glass switch in
Australia and became a business partner of the Alloys
International Group. Our security services expanded
to include access systems and surveillance systems.
Our Adelaide and Geelong dealers joined us in November.
In
2005 we entered into a strategic partnership with
research and development organisations specialising
in home automation technologies and systems integrators.
We also moved to provide whole of house and commercial
electrical services through our partner electrician
firms and dealer organisations. BE-HOME launched its
'SMART HOME AUTOMATION IN A BOX' (TM pending) product
line and anticipated significant uptake by dealers and
retail outlets.
In
2004/5 BE-HOME shareholders and directors moved
to restructure the company to improve marketing and
operational efficiencies. Product warehousing is now
held in Queensland providing an even faster response
for the Queensland and International Asian markets.
In
2004 we completed agreements with IP technology
partners (Satellite and Microwave) to deliver home automation
to remote areas not serviced by the major carriers.
Our strategic partner has eight satellites in the sky
covering most of the planet.
In
2003 we conducted a trial for the DELFIN Group (Lend
Lease) at Caroline Springs in Victoria (one of the largest
new home developments in the state) using our two way
internet satellite technology to deliver IP broadband
internet communications to homes in the estate. This
was successful and BE-HOME was invited onto the Delfin
Caroline Springs technology advisory board as a result.
In
2002 we became the Australian Regional Distributor
for Home Automation Inc. (HAI). Business started in
Melbourne AUstralia.
