YOUR AC WIRING IS YOUR HOME NETWORK . . . Power-line
automation has now gone digital with UPB (Universal
Powerline Bus) technology. This means we can install
home automation without the need for new wiring. (so
long as there is a neutral wire at the wall switch).
It uses the existing 240AC wiring in the home to control
devices around the home. It also interfaces with wireless
technologies and 802.11n networks providing a wide array
of solutions and choice. Universal Powerline Bus (UPB)
sends digital packets of information across the AC wiring.
It's fast, efficient, reliable and can send a signal
up to a mile without repeaters. More affordable and
more functional with more choice.
